Vote for your “favorite” bug

Filed under: Feedback — Christopher Finke @ 8:30 pm

We’re
going to be updating ScribeFire more frequently from now on, and we’d
like to get a better idea of what’s bugging you. Head on over to the Google Code project for ScribeFire
and “star” any bug that affects you or that you really want fixed.
Since we can sort the bugs by how many stars they get, we can
prioritize which bugs get fixed based on the needs of the community.

ScribeFire 1.4.4 Released

Filed under: Releases — Christopher Finke @ 9:32 am

ScribeFire 1.4.4 has been released. It is compatible with Firefox 1.5 through 3.0b3.

This release includes a fix for the Blogger+Feedburner bug. Also fixed in this release is the issue wherein opening the “About ScribeFire” dialog from the status bar would make it impossible to return to the editor.

Releases from this point on are expected to occur more frequently,
with more bugfixes and feature implementations. If you have a bug to
report or a feature to request, create an issue at the ScribeFire Google Code project.

Update: It looks like AMO is having some post-FF3b3-release
issues. If you try and access the ScribeFire page and it doesn’t load,
just try again later.

Update: Fixed now; everything should load fine.

ScribeFire project in Google Code

Filed under: Development, Support Forum — Christopher Finke @ 10:15 pm

I’ve created a project at Google Code for ScribeFire. This will allow you to view the latest source at any time, download nightly builds (once I start creating them), and most importantly, read and file tickets (bug reports and feature requests). If you have a problem with ScribeFire, and it isn’t already in a ticket, go ahead and create a new one.

I’ve already entered a ticket for every issue that has been raised in the discussion forum at Mozilla Addons, and I will be entering tickets for issues in our own support forum and comment threads at ScribeFire.com.
